Linda, glad you're back on the forum.  I wondered several times if you liked the Thunderbolt (Lightning Thunderbolt (loved that bike).  ) after you took it home from Irving.  Hopefully you'll have another bent soon---keep an eye on the market place here or on BentRider Online.  I've seen several Thunderbolt's for sale there.  Welcome back and hope to see you on future rides.

Welcome back to the reclining generation, and to cycling period.  I am a Sign Language interpreter, and years of pressure on the handle bars of my upright bike caused me to take care how often I rode.  I now own a Catrike 700, and never have to worry about pressure to the ulnar nerves which was causing my hands to become numb.  Not only is there no pain in my hands, but I can ride as long as I want without a break, since I am not perched on a post.

Dianna, I have to tell you that I loved that bike and when I quit riding (mistake) I sold the Burley and the Thunderbolt (bigger mistake).  It was a little hill climbing machine!  I rode quite a few times with John S. at the paid rides and around WRL during my summers off.  I hope he locates a loaner bike for me to start riding until I can invest in another one.  I can't part with my mountain bike because those trails are just too dang fun even if I hurt afterwards, and if I sell it to buy a bent, I will be kicking myself again for a different reason.  I will get back out there...HnH is my goal this year and Shiner if I can get a loaner and start building back up distance and hills for those type rides sooner.

Hello all,  Gary here.  My wife and I have been on bents for 3yrs. Catrike, Terra Trike cruiser, and Greenspeed Magnum.   We ride for FUN, and Exercise,  also have Trek DF bikes.  Am not new to this forum, have been visiting it for many years, and it has been very helpful and enjoyble to read.   We live in Coppell, and stay busy, with work travel, and our first new grandaughter.   We plan on riding the bents, much more, than in the past, and hope to meet ya all on the road.   Special thanks to Paul for ordering us jerseys, at the last minute, its important to show our bent colors.  We plan on being a proud active part, of the bent family.  See you all soon.
