Oh, almost forgot.  Is it considered poor form to zip tie a beer coozie to the handlebars?  Or am I supposed to hide it in the water bottles like on the DF?  Smiley

Once you're on a recumbent no amount of zip-tied beer coozies, beards, or pot bellies appreciably lowers your social status among DF cyclists further, so zip-tie away!   Wink

When you are putting on the beer coozies you could always mount them such as

With the weight on the seat rather then your helmet like those football game helmets it'll be much easier in the long run. I always found putting too much on the handlbar got in the way of my vision or my legs on my B-bike. The seat back is a great place to put lots of stuff.

Almost moreso than having a kickstand!!!   Smiley

Hi, John, what riding have you been doing with GDB?  I've been with that club for a while, and take/post most of the photos on the website.  I'll be doing the Airport Ride tomorrow morning...

Fun somehow is a understatement. You ride the most unobtainible tdf team bike around and not get noticed, but ride a bent and the fingers start pointing, maybe it's the cute 16" up front.  My other bikes are jealous.

Hey, John --
Weather permitting, why don't you bring the 'bent out to the Airport Ride this Saturday...  I'd like to see it.  I'm working on convincing Chuck to do the same, and I'll ride with you both, at least going out to the Shell and back....

Only 7 new members since then, most of which haven't made a post.  There are still a LOT more bent riders out there, but we're not reaching them since they don't seem to show up at a lot of the events that we go to or follow up on our recommendations to come visit.

I'm hoping Bob Ford pops in now that he has the Strada.  He did a 20 mile ride and liked it!  -- Nelson.
