HHH 2015 - Who is going? (Read 10423 times)

Jul 28^th, 2015, 2:41pm So since many folks had their overnight accomodations changed unexpectedly, I was wondering who was planning on going to HHH this year? I'm going, and staying as planned at FCC. I stayed there in 2013 and it was fine.

It's closer to the MPEC and I have friends that will be staying in their RV in the parking lot. I think Patti and husband will be there.

I'm making the assumption it'll be a little more serene than anywhere in the downtown area. Besides, due to work situations this year, I'm in no shape for a century so I'll be doing the 100K.

Actually, I should be able to finish the 100 miles ok. It's just going to take longer than I would like.

9 days away, never been there, never done that. So enlighten me, cuz I'm intrigued by the concept.

I hear of a bent cage at the start, any truth to this - what is it how does one get in it

Just how ugly is the first 0-5 miles with 10,000 bikes rolling at the same time

Aside from saying hey I rode hotter -n-hell is it really worth it to go? After all you can ride a century anywhere

If I were to go I would drive out the morning of the ride, is this not a good idea? Google maps says its only 1.5 hours from home
