Hopefully this trail from Ft Worth to Dallas and the Cotton Belt Trail from Ft Worth to Plano will get finished by summer of 2023. I have been told by 3 mayors, including ours from North Richland Hills, that the money has been secured for the Cotton Belt. Haven't heard any updates on the 4 sections not funded on the FT Worth to Dallas Trail.

That would be a very good loop of well over 100 miles. If you use the Denton to Dallas Trail it would be about a 165-170 mile loop.

The Ft. Worth to Dallas trail is now open from the Ron Kirk bridge in Dallas to Hard Rock Rd. in Grand Prairie.  Hopefully this year it will be connected to Arlington.

Perhaps there will be time for this when come for a visit.  We’ll see how much of it is done when I get there.  I am hoping some time in the Spring of next year.
