At the age of 70 I just set 5 Texas state records at a USAPL meet in North Richland Hills at the Absolute Recomp gym on Davis Blvd.

The 395 pounds is about 32 pounds more than the record I set. Going to Spring, TX in December for a meet. I hope to set 5 new records. Then in September 14-17, 2023 I am signed up for the USAPL Raw National Powerlifting Championship in Memphis, TN.  
 
I started lifting to get faster in my velomobile and I am, but now I am addicted to powerlifting.

That's funny Bob! So you are doing deadlifts! I started lifting to improve my sprinting but it has improved all of my riding.  
 
I bought a Leaf hub motor kit for my velomobile and will head off to Willie Nelson's Ranch after the December 18 meet. I hope to get Willie to autograph my guitar and have a toke with him!
