Trike fit in dfw

Anyone in DFW do a good trike fit?  Getting some knee pain and looking into buying road shoes and need a good fit, clipless pedals, and sort out my pain.  Anyone know some good people?

John's trikes in Lancaster or easy street in Keller can hook you up.

Can they do the stuff that a normal bicycle bike fit will do?  Check leg length. Check pronation an flexibility.  Pedal mapping? Etc?

I’ve often wondered about this myself.  Several of my DF friends have fits accomplished using tools like Retul where data is Collected based on various sensors placed on the body while riding a trainer.  I’ve never seen a recumbent fit being accomplished this way?  I wonder could these tools be used to accomplish a fit?  Most shops I have visited use the simple rules to complete the fit based on knee bend angle, length of the leg and foot proximity to the cross beam of a trike and customer saying yes, that feels right.

So are there any electronic fit tools out there for us laid back folks?

I don't believe so...  but recumbent fit is a bit of a different animal - seat recline effects are not comprehended anywhere in classic "bike fitting"...

We can do all the same things with recumbents that can be done on a bike, including the computer spin and posture analysis (at least the parts that matter)  We can also do MSS and VO2Max testing
