Sunday ride at Texas Motor Speedway
Jan 18th, 2019, 10:56am

I am heading to TMS Sunday to test the M1 and slr trike. Anyone else interested. If anyone would want to ride with me, I can hook my trailer up to the van and haul 3-4 more bikes/trikes. It is going to be sunny and mid 50's. I will be waiting until it warms up and the sun is out unless someone wants to meet and go earlier.

Forgot to mention me and another bent rider will be doing a 800-1,000 mile tour from North Richland Hills to Leesville, LA and then loop back on the Southern Tier to Austin, then back to NRH. If anyone wants to join for the whole trip or just one day, you are welcome to come along. We will stay at either Warmshowers, churches, camp, or wild camp. We will be riding on back roads for most of the first park of the trip. If interested, PM me and I will give you my contact number.

If anyone has ever wanted to do touring but hasn't yet for one reason or another, this might be a help to them. This is a tentative first day route.

I'm planning on coming out to TMS Sunday myself. It's a two and a half hour drive, so I don't know when I'll be there, but I'm gonna make a day of it there and maybe at WRL too. Bringing the moose and the encore.

Adults should have fun so kids will want to grow up!

For every mile of road there's two miles of ditch.

I'd rather be sorry for something I did than for something I didn't do.

I forgot we had a birthday lunch planned for my daughter. So I went early and it was way too cold for me. I parked at the gas station next to Rosa's Cafe. I didn't make it a 1/4 mile when I turned around for the van.

Rode 40 at TMS Sunday. As I was driving out there the radio kept saying it was 28 degrees at DFW airport. Couldn't be...... Yes it could be! I put every stitch of clothes I had on my person and took off on my musashi. The roads were pretty rough--especially on the street on the north of the track. There were these cracks in the road that were really annoying. The right one-third of the right lane is terrible. I rode to the left of it. Maybe it will be better by the time the senior games roll around.
Sorry I missed you, J_rob. Maybe it would have been a fraction of a degree warmer drafting off of you!

Greg, we need to do lunch sometime. As I remember our last ride/lunch, I got your order and you got mine. We'll have to see if we can get that right.

Can't believe we are still on speaking terms after that one........If you weren't so darn fast I wouldn't have to run stop signs to keep up with you!!!!!!!!

All my recent 10mph rides would tell otherwise.
