Make sure it wide or with some kind of side curtain otherwise it is only good at high noon.

Going back a while, but it never gets old...

The materials were light weight reeds (which also makes this a Green project!  Maybe even would qualify for some Government grant or something!) from the local creek where my kids gather them to make bows & arrows, with some light weight rip-stop nylon in a bright fast color.  The whole thing was assembled with zip ties, so as not to add too much weight.  Since I "rented" the X-Stream for no fee over the weekend, this wonderful mod can be had for almost the same price; I'm sure Jay will want to have this beauty so he can attain these terrific speeds on the "slow" bike he has.  The best part though was that even at 88 degrees outside I felt as if it were only 72!  It was like having A/C with fresh air!  It was a joyous moment.

So without further ado I give you the speed surrey!!!  Wait for it....

Note the sail affect which greatly increased the speed!!

Unfortunately the PVC pipe and surrey top material has long been repurposed.
The design and plans were thought up as I built the surrey.
The top worked well for the HH100 that year.
