Full face shield for sun protection

[img]i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k510/ExclusiveSeniorPhotography/IMG_0442.jpg" alt="" title="" border="0" />/img]My Oncologist prescribed this full face bubble shield to keep the sun off my face. It works great. Sun screen just wasn't working very well. My Giro helmet had no snaps, so I used electrical ties to attach it. No modification to helmet needed. I thought about buying the Giro attack, but it doesn't cover my face.

It not only keeps the sun off my face, it keeps the bugs, pollen, low hanging limbs off my face. No more wasp stings in the eye and face, 5 last year.

Brand new member here: where did you get the face shield for your helmet? I'm very interested!

Welcome to the forum. What kind of bike/trike, and where do you ride? I am located in the North Richland Hills area NE of Fort Worth.
I found it here:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Snap-Bubble-Wind-Shield-Visor-For-Biltwell-Gringo-Bon anza-Motorcycle-Helmet/162803224625?var=461844117112&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D49924%26meid%3D62e7fa62cc5b4cdd97c0ca181cf96d9c%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D182348159286&_trksid=p2047675.c100623.m-1
. I use the light smoke tented one, but am thinking about getting a silver one also.
I need to order myself a couple more of them. After a year of use, I have a couple of scratches on it. The scratches are not in my line of vision, but I would recommend replacing the shield every year or two.

Two more of these face shields arrived by slow boat today. I paid $19.99 plus $8.00 shipping plus tax from J & B Cycles for the first one. These two cost $19 with free shipping no tax, for the both of them. Same one as J & B.
