2015 rained on my parade ALL year.  MOST of recumbent events I had planned got rained out. I was DETERMINED to get 2016 off to a rolling start. Had a New Rear's Ride planned up for Saturday, January 2. You guessed it - rain. But we changed it to SUNDAY, and the deities smiled on us!! Over 20 of my bent friends came from all over (Dallas, Wichita Falls, Corpus Christi)  to have some fun riding.  
 
This was the first time I have ridden the Spring Creek Trail and it vaulted to #1 on my favorite traiul list! LOTS of really fun turns -- like riding a go cart track. TOTAL wilderness (in Houston???_ Great wide, smooth surface the entire tril (but watch where you are going -- quite a drop from the trail to the ground).
