But I heard him exclaim, as he rode his bent out of sight,

"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Got my new XXL Team RANS jersey from Santa...  Unfortunately, the way the cut is, it'll probably be MARCH Cheesy before I lose enough weight for it to fit right.... (partially due to holiday poundage)   What IS it with these small people???????   And a XXL is the largest they offer....   Angry

I don't know, Paul. I have to be very careful of how hard I work building or repairing bikes or I can't get my arms through the sleeves of most of my jerseys. There's a site where an old girlfriend got me a nice jersey a few years ago: http://www.aerotechdesigns.com/ They have Plus sizes for women and sizes for the Big and Tall men in shorts and jerseys.

It's really annoying to no be able to work my upper body for fear of outgrowing my bike clothes.

I got my red and blue pairs of non-pad shorts from there..   Excellent quality, but they definitely run tight (so to speak)...

I've reached the point where I hate to order cycling clothes without being able to try them on first. Some of the sizing is pretty ridiculous. I'm smaller than Paul, but I've returned XXL's that were too small, and the nice fitting San Francisco jersey most of you have probably seen me wear is a XXXL. On the other hand, with a Borah, I'm between a L and XL, and if I want a cheap base layer shirt from wally world to fit snug, I have to buy a Medium.  Go figure....

Edit: I just remembered where a photo of the San Francisco jersey was. Does this look like a XXXL to you?

Merry Christmas post holiday Smiley I am in the same size delima as many here (we all can't be BikinMike body sizes)
Santa got me a new mirror, seat pad insert for a new fabric seat off eBay and a nice yellow seatback bag from Calhoun Cycles all for my new (under 500 miles) Vision USS R40.Hope everyone has made their target millage for 2007 (I did  Grin ) mine was only 3,000 miles so I am going to set that to 4,500 miles in 2008.
Thanks Opus for the link, I plan to check that out.
 Happy Trails to all,

The RANS jersey is "RACE RAGLAN" cut, according to the tag... as opposed to "Club Cut" that my other 2XLs are...   and there was NO indication on the RANS website that they are race cut...  So, I've emailed the folks up there accordingly....   I'm probably just going to have to return it  Sad
