John, Refresh my memory on what bikes you have. Is it a V-Rex and a Stratus? If so, there are lots of hitch racks that will hold the V-Rex. I think the Sportworks like I have are the best. Thule bought out Sportsworks, and made their version of the rack a lot cheaper, but it's still not bad, and they're modular; you can add on or take off individual trays. Most any of the racks which use a hook and ratcheting arm do a nice job on shorter recumbents, and you don't have to remove a wheel. The recumbent specific ones which have hooks for both the front and back wheels, like I use for my Corsa, are especially nice. But none of this style are long enough for a Stratus. I modified an old Sportworks rack tray to make it long enough for Rose's Stratus, and it works pretty well, but I think the longer bikes are better off being carried lengthwise, and not crossways. The Draftmaster which has already been mentioned is the best I know of for that.
