Trailers? (Read 1810 times)

Kwijybow Five Star Member mostly a commuter Posts: 1026	Trailers? Nov 7^th, 2007, 4:14pm Any of you folks have or have had a bike trailer? Any recommendations? Would be primarily for grocery shopping, hauling heavier items I can't hang on the bike etc. Seem to be quite a few choices, I've also been toying with building one. Take Care, Nelson.

I did it and have been really happy with it. I might have had $50 in it but could have been cheaper if I tried. I may still have the issue, I'll see if I can find it. I've done several self contained trips with it and had no problems. DJ

Hi DJ,

That would be awesome if you still have them, the basic idea isn't too hard I guess, but a pre existing template would be great. I'm thinking some bmx bike wheels would be be good for the rolling stock, although I acutally have a coulle of sets of 700C race wheels from the 80's. How about a tubular rimmed bike trailer! HaHa only kidding.
