Going to Belton......
Oct 10th, 2007, 7:29am

on Friday.  Will do it on the Corsa @ figure it to be about 120 miles.  Will leave the house, heading south on 174 to Meridian.  Then take 6 through Clifton on to Valley Mills where I'll head south on 317 through Crawford, ( maybe I'll see Ted Nugent ) McGregor, then my bro-in-laws house on Lake Belton.  Should be fun and the weather is just right.  Friday afternoon we'll drive to Fredericksburg for the weekend.  DJ

Sounds like fun! I've done the trip to Waco a couple of times using mostly US77 which is the east side route. Never tried the west side route like you're doing.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

Dave, that sounds like a good ride. Enjoy & be safe. Once in Fredericksburg, visit the the Fredericksburg Brewery(if you're so inclined or reclined).
