Red SideWinder 'For Sale"!
Aug 24th, 2007, 9:50am

Think I may have too many cycles now! 1. Tour Easy, ride it little. 2. SideWinder, ride it some. 3. ActionBent trike, needs seat frame, still un-used. 4. DragonFlyer Trike! Riding it for ever! Have big garage, but, would like to sell SideWinder. Contact me for details. Prefer to sell in Dallas area, but, can make other arrangments.

EDIT: Moved this thread from rbent Lobby to Marketplace.

Any pics?  I see this was first posted some time last year.  Is it still a good offer?

Sure! Still in monster garage. Still 'ride it some'. Still in 'love' with my DragonFlyer'! Can meet at some lake/bike park for a test drive. Bachman Lake? North end of "Dallas Love Field Airport". Be sure to check threads, so you can see just how much it has been used. About none  Shocked !

Melissa.  Trying to determine if this would be a better route to add a full fairing to as opposed to converting my Infinity LWB (in the Technical forum) to a tadpole and building a full fairing...

BTW what model SideWinder is it?

Regarding red "SideWinder"!
Wish to buy Wizwheelz "PATH" for ladyfriend. Hope to use money of SideWinder sale for said purpose. "PATH" is $1050, SideWinder may go up of current price of $850. Provided you're not happy with $4 a gallon.

LRod, if you can, take a photo or two, upload them to www.photobucket.com or some similar sharing site, then post the link that starts with " [IMG..." in your post here.

OK, without pictures, how about some more details about the trike -- condition, components, etc.

Cycleblues, ( & others) here is my best description.
Tires: ODYSSEY "Burmuda", 20 x 1.75 "Perfect";
Rims: 36 spoke, (chrom or aluminum ?);
Brakes: dual Hayes hydrolic disks;
Derailuers: Front, Shimano 105 /triple (needs adjustment, hence price), twist type;
Gears: Sacks, 7 gear cluster/ twist type;
Seat fabric: black nylon mesh, see thru weave, removeable;
Seat frame: 7 positon adjustable (made optional, long back tube for short legs, i. e. girls);
Rear wheel: quick detachable;
Reflectors: white in all rims, frame has front/ white, rear/ red.
Condition: Near perfect, minor scrathes on hand rails/rests, where I stand it up for storage.
Did I say it is
RED?
It is an original with no serial number (Randy) manufactor said one can be stamped on it for registering it. First owner paid $2,400 for it, never had gears adjusted, she retired and moved to be with daughter in Florida, sold it to highest bidder, he kept it two weeks, I bought it from him.
