Finally no rain
Jun 28th, 2007, 8:54pm

Got in 32.5 miles this evening.  Reasonably fast the first 20 miles btu running out of gas the last 10.  Just did beat a storm home.  Nice to be back out again Cheesy.  Definitely showing signs of not enough exercise Tongue.

I started my Thursday ride earlier than usual, knowing that storms were coming. I stayed on the Joe Pool dam, figuring it would be a quicker escape from there, and kept my speed over 20 mph, except for the one lap I rode with Mark Metcalfe, listening to RAAM stories. That lap knocked my average down a bunch: 26.5 miles at 18.5 mph.

It was a very nice ride, and I beat the storm back to my truck, but just barely, getting drenched while putting the bike in the rack and my stuff in the truck.
