OK the menu for Saturday will be: Sesoned Chicken, mac and cheese, and italian green beans, some kind of fruit cup or cobbler for dessert and milk or tea for beverage. They have been informed about our needing extra carbs and hydration. I'll be eating with my friend, and Paul will be eating with whovever wants to share a table with him.  Roll Eyes I'll have a couple of extra people sittin with me as well Grin

Sounds good to me -- departing Parker Station in Plano at 8AM sharp.  I'll have on my 1.35" tires to make the chipseal a little softer...  Any other last minute joiners?  Don't let lack of lunch reservations stop you...  Otherwise, it's just me and John...

No more rides to the nursing home for at least a month. The place is located on the banks of Post Oak Creek, which overflowed its banks yesterday and flooded the Mission Oaks nursing home, causing massive water damage to medical equipment and facilities in the home. Repair time has not been determined as of this morning, but what I was told yesterday was that even if there was no equipment damage, it would take at least 2 weeks to get all the mud and glop out of the structure and another 2 weeks to sanitize the place so the residents would not get infections from the mold etc. caused by the damp conditions.

You may have seen the lady I went to visit on TV getting evacuated from the facility yesterday.

That's too bad.  It sounds like everyone got out okay, though.  That's a Good Thing™.
