It's my turn to do the sermon in my church
Mar 23rd, 2007, 1:37pm

I attend a lay-led UU church in Garland, and i have the service for 04/01/07. Does anyone have a DVD or VHS copy of the Warner Bros.classic "Duck Amuck"? I need it to illustrate a point in my sermon. The sermon I wrote clocks in at 4 minutes 47 seconds when spoken, I need some serious filler Tongue.

BTW I always use bicycles as an illustrative point in my sermons so this post is on-topic for this board.

Sorry Richard, I'm afraid that's not helpful  cry The topic for the sermon is The Fool's Journey, and I was going to use Duck Amuck as an illustration of a Fool (Daffy) on a journey (to make a cartoon) with no clear idea of the direction nor the destination (nobody gave him the script, and the animator keeps changing the backgrounds and situations on him). The part of the sermon I'm writing concerns riding a century, and what that entails. Then as the planning for the century evolves, I make comparisons to life, and how a bike journey is an analogy to life's journey.

And I do the whole thing in 6:06 (revised text).
