Showed this to my son a couple of weeks back. He was ready to order one. I told him unless he put up the money, he'd have to be happy with just hiking along the abandoned lines around town. Last week, we hiked the old Santa Fe ROW slated to eventually become the Chalk Hill Trail. Stretches from the Westmoreland Road DART station to Pinnacle Park, although there is one section along Coombs Creek that is impassable at the present time.

Posts: 2178	Re: Rail shark Reply #5 - Apr 18^th, 2014, 11:33am There was an interesting show on PBS a few years ago about a couple of guys doing a rail bike excursion in South America. Seemed like the wind and sand caused lots of mechanical problems. Also, there don't seem to be many convenience stores where they went.
