Jerry, since the original owner advertised the M1 for local pickup, are you driving all the way to Seattle to get it? Or, were you able to convince him to ship it? Will be interesting to see which is the fastest bike - the NoCom or the M1.

His car isn't big enough to get the M1 in. I contacted a local trike shop there and will have them pick it up and ship it. I would rather pay $400 for them to do that than pay $800+ and the 4,600 miles for me driving out there. That is how I got it, everyone was scared off by no shipping. Heck, I would have paid the owner to rent a U-haul truck if I had to! Some Uber driver even said he would fold down the seats in his van and pick it up and deliver it for me. There is always an option around people who will not ship!

I think the speed will be very close.

Yes it does Jay. I need to buy some Scorcher 120's for it. These tires are worn out. I was suppose to get 3 new tires and a few other things that wasn't in the box! I guess when it takes 14 days to pack it up and ship, you are bound to forget something. Grin

The SLR will be a rocket with Scorcher 120's all the way around. I'll never have anything but Scorchers on my Aero.

My other new ride! A John Morciglio M1. The guy wouldn't ship but I found a bike shop two blocks from his house. The owner of the shop sent someone over and he walked the M1 back to the shop. Just got off the phone with the shop and they will have it boxed and ready to go tomorrow. I'll use shipbikes.com and should have it one day next week.

Here's a video of John Morciglio riding it no hands down hill!

The M1 is on the way! I had to use uship.com because the shop had it in a 93" x 17" x 31" box which is too large for all carriers. Should be here by Wednesday. Paul Brown, do you want to ride it? Smiley

It's a good ride. Very similar to nocom but not as plush. You should have bought the Tica though.

I think I bought the best bike, at least for me. The NoCom is very fast and Mike Mowett and Larry Oslund are hard to beat on the M1 or Arrowheads. I have learned how to repair carbon fiber. It is just like fiberglass, just more expensive. The NoCom will be like new again in a few more weeks. Now to see which color really is faster. Black or red!
