I'm trying to try to figure out if I did good or bad today. I averaged 18.6mph over a very hilly course--definitely designed for an upright. I only placed 8th in my age group of 50-59, and 30th overall. There were some young guns here who were really tough from all over Texas and some from Colorado and even Mexico. I hadn't been really pushing hard in training, but what I did was 20+mph work on flats.

I guess I need to find a flatter course. Next ride is HHH. Hope to see you for a few miles at least there before you put on the afterburners.
