Mark Solow from Pathfinders posted this CASUAL RIDE for this Saturday...  if you live elsewhere from the Carrollton area or don't want to do the DART train, meet them at the AA Center Station (?)
 
 
To honor Richard Freeman's 65th birthday. RBENT, Pathfinders, Bike Friendly Cedars and BF Oak Cliff are invited to join.  
 
We will be celebrating Richard H Freeman Sr's 65th Birthday with a tour of the best places to ride in downtown Dallas area. Feel free to join for all or part. To DART or drive*. In only 12 miles of riding, you'll experience: Main Street Gardens, Deep Ellum, Klyde Warren Park, American Airlines Center, Trinity Groves, Farmer's Market, Expo Center. and West End. Plus lunch and dinner.
 
11:30a Lunch at Twisted Root Carrollton.
12:54p Board DART train with bike at Downtown Carrollton Station (across the street from Twisted Root).
1:25p Arrive at American Airlines Center Station. Ride to Main Street Garden. Meet up with Bike Friendly Cedars and Oak Cliff .
2:00p Tour departs from Main Street Gardens.
3:15p Four Corners Brewery for Birthday Cake.
4:00p Dinner at your choice of 6 different Trinity Groves concept restaurants (see: http://www.trinitygroves.com/explore/).      
      3011 Gulden Ln, Dallas, Texas 75212 Eat together outside on covered patio.
5:42p DART train departs from West End station.
6:15p Arrive at Downtown Carrollton Station (Beltline and I-35)
 
Distance: 12 miles
Speed: Tour pace (aprox. 10 mph)
 
Bring: Helmet, Water, cell phone, lock, $/cc for food.
 
*If you want to drive, you can park at Richard Freeman's house. Ride departs at 1:30p. PM Richard for address.
