Pedal to the Metal race this saturday at the TMS
May 14^th, 2015, 8:50pm

Got a last minute notice about this ride. Last I looked, there was a chance for rain so if I go I'll be doing day of registration. It's a 15 lap (15 mile) charity RACE around the Texas Motor Speedway. Registration is a bit steep at 50 bucks. But it's a charity. They're also providing Fred's Burgers at the finish.

They have categories down to an anticipated 16 mph rider, so it's not like you have to be a real speed demon to race. Think of it as a personal TT to benefit the special olympics. Details and starts times (whoch vary) can be found here.

I gotta say, I owe this freaking speedway some payback anyway. I may just do about 5000 dollars worth of damage before I leave.

I hope to make it. If you don't recognize me, I will be wearing a ski mask helping you do the damage. Smiley

Hopefully I can escape without being caught. If I remember to take off the ski mask! Smiley
