ride for kid's sake

If you are planning out your ride schedule for next year, the Ride for Kid's Sake in Abilene is tailor made for recumbents. The 31 mile race has an 11 mile gentle decline at the end of the race, allowing us to use what the laws of physics gave us--speed on the downhill! I'll include a link to the Strava dashboard for the race. Look at the last 11 mile profile. There is one bridge that is really steep and long that really doesn't show up all that well.

Adults should have fun so kids will want to grow up!

For every mile of road there's two miles of ditch.

I'd rather be sorry for something I did than for something I didn't do.
