Something Bikejournal's journal provides is the ability to sort your rides for various criteria. I use it to pick out my 100k rides when I'm logging them into the Metric thread (senility showing). Today I decided to see how much Jay's assertion about the slowness of trikes actually affected my rides. I know I'm slower, but how much? I'm not picky about the type of ride I do on the trike--I've done two metric centuries on it this year, so the statistics should be comparable. The results:
Bob's Catrike 700= 29 rides, 943 miles at 13.59 mph.
Bob's Musashi, . . = 36 rides, 1673 miles at 15.67 mph.
So, Jay, fuel for the fire.
