...it has been 215 days since my last ride.
Finally got the SXP put back together and got everything adjusted. Moving just sucks after you get into a routine that really works for you. Living in a hotel for 72 days and then doing major remodeling as soon as we moved into our new-to-us house...not much room left to ride. North Georgia has lots of hills, nothing like North Texas...well maybe similar to north of McKinney (for those that are familiar with the triple-by-pass) it's kinda like that! It'll take some time to get back into my HHH shape, and hopefully I can start riding some more, now that the weather has improved. Of course the pollen right now is almost like dust in your teeth...yuck.
So all said I got 8.08 miles in according to Map My Ride. Did 4.69, and stopped to get my ID which I left at the house, then did the other 3.69. Felt great and looking forward to getting back up to speed as it were. A side note: hills: YES, but the roads are all smooth as glass around here! NO chip-seal that I've seen. THAT makes for some nice riding. I think my top speed was somewhere around 34-ish, of course down a VERY steep but short hill on my street. It is a loop of .9 miles.
The new RBENT shirt rides really nice too! Thanks for taking care of the details Paul!
