Some of you Rando/Racer guys should go out there and set some 12 & 24 hour records.  They seem to be within reach.... at least of someone in better shape then me (12 hour - 153 miles @ 12.75 mph avg; 24 hour - 360 miles @ 15 mph avg).  I don't see a recumbent record.  Would be fun to get a team together and get out there.

3 1/2 months to train and talk the wife into letting me go.....maybe next year.   Smiley

Four of us went last year (Steve, Peggy, Shellene and I), for the Cancellation In The Canyon.  The course is hilly, but not that bad, or at least that's how it looked to me.  Even with the race being cancelled, we had a good time riding and hiking.   Shellene and I will probably be going back this year, but not sure which race we'll do.

Oh cool. I had no idea they did something like that in Palo Duro. Its a great place to ride. I used to ride my bike to work there, when I was in college.
