Oak Cliff Mardi Gras parade
Feb 7th, 2013, 8:53pm

Bicycle Friendly Oak Cliff will be entrant #1 in this year's Oak Cliff Mardi Gras parade, and I will be up there in front with them using the cargo capacity of Blue to its fullest. I will be the "truck" that carries additional beads for other people to throw. This bins on the back will carry a bunch of beads Smiley and  Smiley after the parade! I might be late for evening services this Sunday. Information at Bicycle Friendly Oak Cliff http://bikefriendlyoc.org/2013/02/05/mardi-gras-parade-oak-cliff-group-ride-febr uary-10th/

See everybody there!

I was planning to ride this year but my son had to be in Plano at 4:30 so we missed it. Maybe next year we could get a large group of recumbent folk to come out for this. Trikes would be great for the parade and any bike riders who are up for the challenge of balancing at the leisurely pace. They've been letting the cyclists go first for a couple of years now.
