OAB on a Catrike 700
Aug 27th, 2012, 7:56pm

Vicky,
The One Armed Bandit arrived, and is installed.  In the photos, you'll see how the OAB is really formed to attach to the narrower Bacchetta derailleur post.  No problem.  The connection is still SOLID.  I shimmed with my favorite, sheets of stenciling plastic.
The Big Bangs are both having switch problems, on a slow boat to Germany. 2nd Gen. MiNewt Dual headlights are standing in.

Sweet!  Thanks for the pics Key.  Did you put any Loktite on the clamping bolts?  I would worry a little about vibration loosening them with all the chip seal around here.

Ooops, I never thought of Loktite. But I guess after two years they are fairly stuck.
Better cheek in the morning.

Good idea with the Locktite, but there is so much flexing of the fitting because it's a little smaller, that it may be putting enough bend in the bolts to do the same as Locktite, effectively.  I'll be monitoring.

...also, I avoid chipseal like kryptonite.   Shocked
