Terrie and I brought out the Margarita Machine tandem on Saturday, planning to do an out-and-back 40-miler to the airport with the GDB... which would have been the longest ride Terrie has ever done on a bike. Well, we got out to the Shell station (22 mi), and felt pretty good, having stopped for an extra bathroom break along the way at MacArthur.  
 
Rick said, "I think we may do 50 instead of heading back - ya wanna?" We agreed... And with a couple extra breaks along the way, actually did 58 MILES, going around the airport and back along Rochelle / Royal / etc.  
 
And Terrie can still walk, and she is still talking to me... and feels kinda proud about it, actually!!!  This tandem thing might work out, after all....
