POSTPONED--  Mesquite to Seagoville, now Mar. 19
Feb 28th, 2011, 7:37pm

THIS RIDE HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO MARCH 19th -- PB, 3/3/11

If the weather cooperates, I'd like to propose an "EastSiders" group ride starting from Mesquite Poteet HS, to do either a 50-miler to Seagoville and back, or a 100K to Combine and back, with an 8AM rollout...  I'm leaning toward the 100K, as long as the north wind isn't stupidly strong...

Any takers?  We'll see how the forecast develops over the next few days.

Wish I could make it but I'll be visiting my wife's grandmother in Wichita Falls to celebrate her birthday.  You know you have to take care of your host for HHH weekend!!!  Have fun!

Here's the route to Seagoville

Here's an extra loop to Combine, to make it a 100K if we want...  anybody know the condition of Bois d'Arc road along this loop?  We can cut short on Bilindsay and use Kaufman St. as alternates.

Paul,
I looked at the route you posted.
Are we really going down the alley behind plantation drive?

1. Looking at the route sheet, are you really going on Lawson Rd. between 80 and Scyene Rd.? Has it been reopened?
2. At mile 30.3 I think you want to take a left not a right onto US 175 frontage RD.

1_  No, it doesn't show that - Lawson is still closed north of Scyene up to 80.

2_ That's a bug in the cuesheet generation program - it's obviously a left turn!

3_  The "alley" is my bad...  Grin

We'll try the ride again in a couple weeks...  Say March 19th, same time...... with Sunday the 20th as a backup date!
