The Lone Star Randonneurs is hosting a populaire this Sunday.  Distance is 100k (60 miles), and the ride starts from the Bicycle's Inc in Arlington at 8:30am.  
 
You DO NOT have to be a member for any LSR populaires under 200k
 
Randonneuring is self-supported long distance riding.  Most rides are 200k or longer, but the club is committed to doing a populaire every month.  This is an amazing group of people - real characters and nice guys and gals.  So these are great ways to try the randonneuring style of riding or just do a normal 60 mile ride.  There will be many first timers out Sunday, so don't worry about being the only one.
 
Dan is buying free donuts at the start, so arrive early!  Feel free to ask any questions.

Yessir.  I talked two young ladies into joining us, and I hate to stand up such pretty girls - especially ones who race for a cycling team!  
 
I should be bringing the VK2 along for it's first run with tailbox, though I suspect I'll be sore and slow.
