I sent a e-mail to Bachetta and John Schlitter answered right away.
he asked for a better photo so I took it to PC&F this afternoon, after Kyle removed the chainring we discovered it was a scratch. I remembered dropping my chain once, only once but that was enough.
Here is a better photo.
http://www.bicycle-stuff.com/main/bent/ca_scratch.jpg I have been on some pretty rough roads and hit some mean bumps and the bike just keeps on rolling. That is why this surprised me. Only problem is: What kind of bike possibly could be next?
John good deal. When I saw the picture, the area of the scratch & scratch itself looked exactly like Peggy's CA2.0 when she dropped her chain. A chain tattoo.
Thanks to Plano Cycle & Bacchetta for great customer service. Now you can go back to riding without any reservations. The CA2.0 is a tank. In the past year, I've ridden my CA2.0 on some nasty boulder seal. The bike just keep rollin'.
