Aside from collecting old signs, anyone know where someone could buy sheets of coroplast?

I have some sheets of black 4mm, and would part with a couple. $20 each.

Thanks!  I'm mainly trying to tie down some pricing right now.  I found some 4'x8' sheets of 3003 aluminum for about $45 so I'm not sure which way I'm going to go yet.  I'm determined to have a Velo even if I have to make the darned thing myself!

Me too Dan, and I'm thinking something along these lines...http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/acabian-gto/#35

I already have a GEBE 32cc motor on the back of my Infinity (hope that's not too blasphemous for some here) and I love it!  With a fairing I wouldn't mind riding all year!  I’ll go back to motor-less on the Infinity when I get the velo built.  The frame is already 90% complete with full suspension; I’ll just have to figure out the outriggers for when the weather calls for full siding.

It's all being built around the CF seat I got from FlyingLaZBoy.

Smiley You da man!  I can't imagine starting from scratch on something like this.  I'm just planning on stealing some ideas from the Alleweder to put a body on one of my older bikes.  I'd prefer a trike but can't afford a fast one right now.  Powerbent is pretty sure we can build one ourselves, but getting the steering right and all the parts aligned properly scares the mess out of me.

I have a few of Atomic Zombie plans, and they are very well done. If you want to take a look at them sometime let me know, and maybe we can schedule some time to get together and look into the builds...

I have the latest trike he made: the Warrior, and that one is great!  AZ has a great way to get the proper Ackerman for a great ride.

Don't suppose you're coming to the picnic with a flatbed trailer?  Grin

That would be fun, but my in-laws are in town this weekend.  Maybe another time...when my kids can do longer distances.  It would be fumn to get together with a bunch of other bent riders.

Thanks for those posts Opus, I've read most of them several times now.  I also have Ed Gin's video of the project somewhere, I got it from People Movers on video sometime back.  Anyone have one of those VHS to DVD machines?

Yeah, I've read most of that.  I really like this site:

http://www.ihpva.org/Projects/PracticalInnovations/index.html

Because of my preference for aluminum, I am now considering doing the whole thing myself.  Although someone is selling a raptor trike for $600 in San Antonio, I think I can make it more "body friendly" starting from scratch.  I'm working on some drawings and will probably try to run some stuff by you and powerbent to see what you think.  'Preciate any help you can give!
