Dallas Red Hot Chili Pepper 100k
Aug 15th, 2009, 7:00pm

Seems everyone else went to the Sherman ride, I'll do that one next year.

600-800 riders
Like last year too much construction and poor road surface at the first and final 5 miles but the rest was a blast with almost no chipseal and only a few hard hills. Rest stops were pretty small with too few toilets.

Some pictures at www.lifeonabaron.blogspot.com

I "think" other than a trike I was the only recumbent there, last year maybe one other besides me, is there something about this ride people don't like?

Mark,

Where is that covered bridge located?

Jay G.

Somewhere along Mountain Creek Parkway just north of I-20 near a housing complex, it's not an authentic covered bridge
