Reply #2 - Apr 9^th, 2009, 4:52pm They are looking to do stories on individuals that ride for a reason. Since the organization raisers money for cancer research, they're looking to do "pieces" on people who were touched by cancer...i.e. family, friends...and that's why they do the ride.

Well, I do work for an online newspaper. And 4 of my 5 grandparents died from one form or another of cancer (one grandparent re-married after a divorce). I guess it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to say I ride for a reason, and just not mention that I ride mainly to move my butt from point A to point B, at a time of my choosing.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.
