It's been with great joy to introduce recumbents to LSR.  Over the past three years we've grown to ~10 active bent riders in LSR.

However, we're looking at some significant cold at the start, and headwind in the 2nd half, according to NOAA...   arrrrrghhhhhh   I don't suppose we can start at Spanish Fort, and have a tailwind in the 2nd half instead, O Mighty Ray, Owner Of The Route????  
 

Bring your cameras, there are places you'll definately want to stop and take pictures.  For example, about 1 mile before St. Jo is an eceltic ranch similar to the ranch outside of Amarillo with the cadillac's in the ground.   This ranch not only has VW Bettles positioned like the cadillar ranch, they also have some other interesting art, all close to the road.
