Terrie and I and her kids are heading out on Tuesday to her sister's place at Lake Cypress Springs (Northeast of Winnsboro) for TGiving... It's about 90 miles from here by car out I-30, so it occurred to me, why don't I try to ride out to there (and back?), and Terrie can drive with the bike rack on the car if riding back doesn't work out...
I asked George Evans and Shellene Foster (LSR) if they knew good routes for a solo rider to use, and George gave me this one that starts in Rockwall, which actually goes right past the entrance to the specific housing development at the lake, about 98 miles one way!

I think I'll use the StratusXP, to help soak up that probable boulder-seal along the way...
Riding back doesn't look promising, as they're forecasting rain for Thursday... but at least I'll burn off some extra calories in anticipation of too much food...
