It's a big o' loop, and this is one route where you're 99.99999% certain to not get lost. The .00001% is in case of road closure. But, I'm riding with a GPS this week! Weather is still looking great for Saturday.

Given the abundance of good road, few turns, and hills, I'm considering trying a speed run on the course. Might be fun to see how that carbent climbs.

Welcome to the forum, Cheri! The start time is 7:30. For those who don't know Cheri, she is another of those crazy members of the Lone Star Randonneurs, and a very nice person. She isn't on a recumbent (yet).

It turns out that I am not going to be able to ride. Saturday has been made a mandatory work day at the dungeon where I work, so we can take January 2nd as a paid holiday day.
