JPLake Time Trials?

This is interesting...  Top speeds appear to approach 28-29 mph, I wonder how fast I (or Greg, et al) could do a flat 8 mile run on the JPL dam....

Registration is from 5:30 PM to 6:55 PM  
 
 
This is a free timed work out if you have your own chip and $5.00 Chip  
rental if you DO NOT have a Personal Chip.

I did JP a couple of weeks ago, the surface didn't seem all that great for ultra-high speeds..?
