Thursday night Bicycles Plus WRL ride
Aug 7th, 2008, 9:48pm

I rode the XS on the Thursday night "Bicycles Plus" group ride -- I've become known as "that recumbent guy"  Grin  -- We did an easy 5 miles over to WRLake at 16-18, I led the sprint (25+) around the lake, regrouped, then back.  The bike performed flawlessly -- although while climbing Loving Hill at a steady pace, not pushing too hard, I could head the rear spokes pinging here and there.  Fielded many envious questions from the other riders after the lake loop, related to comfort and speed.

Saw Mark Leuck ride by, as we were regrouping, and a few of the other riders commented on how fast Mark climbed the hill where the road construction starts.

What is it with you guys and spoke problems? Get some Aerospokes and you won't have a problem!  Smiley

It's the same spokes on the same bike.  I'm afraid my big behind has destroyed the wheel Smiley
