Tour de Paris (7/19)
Jul 22nd, 2008, 9:14pm

Cheryl and I drove up to Paris Saturday to join The Stradas, Corsa Ken, Mister Sadowsky, Bob McClure, and a couple I know are RBENT'ers but who gave me a blank stare when I waved to them. Cheryl completed a personal best 26 miles on her handcycle, and I limped the full 67 and change with a case of heat exhaustion - a first for me, as well.

My ride report here.

Mike,

Great ride report. You weren't alone on this one. I was way slower than last year and was totally  wiped at the end of the ride. I struggled to make it home after the ride and had to tank up on caffiene to keep from falling asleep. Still, these guys put on a great ride and I will still show up next year. I hope to see you all there as well. Turtle was amazing - I think she was fresher than any of us.
