Jul 17^th, 2008, 8:04pm I got tha Darn those road nail blues You can hardly see these in normal light, esp. when tire not inflated to 100 psi. and the tire only has 2,000 miles on it, RATS! Do you think it is safe to use if I place a patch on the inside facing out?

Then reinflate the tire. Works like a charm on the narrow road tires. Depending on the size of the hole, a patch on the inside of the tire would work also. (that's how they patch automotive tires)
