Greg what is the make of those crash shorts you have?   And have they been OK?  I remeber the origional pair was sized too small.

Domino is the brand, and yes they seem to work fine.  I haven't tested them in a crash thank god but they don't seem to impede movement in any way.  However, it seems the pad is in a different place on the bibs versus the regular shorts - or maybe it's the size that makes em different.  either way, the Xl in regular shorts fit pretty well for me.
