Kennedale - Briaroaks, May 11th

In order to help me get ready for the Cross Timbers Classic, the first 100 mile ride I've done since last December, I'm planning on doing my 86 mile Kennedale - Briaroaks route on Sunday, May 11th. It's a rural route on small, mostly low traffic roads. There are no horrific climbs, but lots of rolling hills. I'm flexible on starting time, depending on who wants to join me.

Between the HCTT and the night century, I'll need some recovery time. Migt cut that night mileage down to 60 miles and make it.

I tend to favor early too, so let's set the starting time at 8:00 am. Down some caffeine and join us, Greg. You'll love the route! (Steve, remind me to slow down on that one curve this time.)

The ride start is the parking lot at Sonora Park, just south of Kennedale on New Hope Road.

Looks like a fun route, hope the weather works out ok. If I am free, I would like to ride a slightly shorter version, if not that day soon. My speeds and distances are slowly improving, so it's a good route to streach out my distances a bit.

Thinking in the daylight, it might not be best for my marriage anyway if I bike Saturday morning, Saturday night, and again for 80 miles on Sunday. But I'll do my best to be there!
