Well,

anyone selling a good bent someone 5'7" can ride?

I'm buying this weekend (purchase has been green-lit).

I was going to pick up a Lightning Phantom (to replace the old Thunderbolt that was stolen) from RBM.

Recumbents are rare enough that you might get it back.  Post a message on bentrideronline.com in the stolen bike section of the forums.

Steve - were you and Peggy out riding yesterday?  I just had a friend stop by my office and say that he saw a vehicle with 2 red Bacchetta's in tow.  I momentarily drifted into a Rush tune, but he slapped me back into consciousness.

Paul - close your eyes for a minutes....

Now that the family is growing, someone needs to step up and coordinate a Bacchetta ride.  I don't have the leadership, logistical or "Type A" personality skills to acheive such greatness.  I vote for Robert or Charlie  Grin

Ray, Yes. Our MS-150  team had a meeting & casual ride yesterday in Flower Mound(we rode down to the lake & other areas in Flower Mound-26 miles).  We rode right past the area you had a chain/cassette issues during our Rbent ride in 2007.

Foorider was there with his Corsa as well.

Gosh Steve - glad I didn't nominate you to climb the bell tower and garner the Killer B's  Wink
Next time you ride in Flower Mound, please give me a call.

Robert, Charlie, or anyone else. Now you really need to "engineer" a ride for us common folk....

Wow.  That's the first time "Type A personality" and my name have been used in the same sentence!  What have I done wrong??

Robert - it's almost 5:30am, and I've been sitting here in my office writing, deleting, re-writing, deleting for about 20 minutes.  I was trying to be seriously funny.  Guess I can't draw that style out this early.

Aren't the phrases "Type A Personality" and "Recumbent Rider" mutually exclusive terms?????   Tongue

I'm begginning to feel like a 'bent outcast, owning my RANS...  I thought recumbency was all about being unique!  Wink

what's the difference between "mutually exclusive" and "oxy-moronic"?  where does "seriously funny" fit in?

My wife thinks recumbent riding fits my personality perfectly.  I think she described my new biking habits in a Christmas letter a few years ago as "riding around in my lounge chair."  She and I went out for her first ride other than around the neighborhood last Sunday, mostly doing around 10 mph, and she was kidding me about yawning all the time! Grin

Ray, I'll think about trying to organize a Bacchetta ride, right after my nap.........

Well to organize and lead a ride requires some "Type A" characteristics, but not the whole package. I forget what the "normal" recumbent rider personality type is but I think Type R would be a good description Tongue Roll Eyes
