Opus the Poet

I picked up some metal cheap for the new dropouts, enough to build about 5 bikes for $4 and tax, and all it took was 6 hours on the bus... I decided since I was building new droputs anyway, I might as well build in mounts for the tailbox. So the reskinned tailbox will be mounted on a full-width, full-length, welded to the bike steel mount. No more flimsy bolted on mounts with zip ties holding the mount together. The new mount will have a permanent battery box and switches for the lighting setup, with enough battery capacity to ride all night (12 hours burn time on high beam).having a fully supported frame for the tailbox also means the stresses on the box are going to be a lot lower, reducing the number of repairs required to the frame and also the number of re-skins. Anyone think of something I missed and need to put on the mount? Opus
