Just managed to limp into the computer room for a quick note to y'al. I'm doing ok, I guess, though I almost went to the e.r. one night for pain. I'm mostly off the meds now but sitting with your foot propped up at all times is stressful in many ways. Anyway, I've got a snazzy wheelabout thing that's a cross between granny's walker and a wheelchair. It even has a full bike brake (note to self - must upgrade to dura-ace. tiagra doesn't cut it). Grin

So I'm ok, but I'll be intermittent for a few days. These pins sticking out of my toes just don't like much movement right now.

Glad to see you here. After being opened up like a tuna can (who knew how bad getting the chills up and down these incisions would be), I'm not very mobile, either. Rose says she's going to bring me over to your place for a visit so we can be miserable together (I suspect she really just wants me out of her hair for a little while).

Ouch! When they put me back together at least they put all the repair parts completely inside. I don't think I could stand having stuff "hanging out".

Maybe I can just get them made in a retractable version, so I can slice the wheels of any roadie who tries to hang with me for too long Maybe I can finally beat Dennis Grelk in a race next year!
