Ride to Aubrey
Dec 8th, 2007, 4:27pm

After punting on my LSR Permanent Populaire (really hate to drive to rides!) I did some route development ride up to Aubrey from my house.  I haven't driven a car this week so was really happy to avoid it today as well.  Here is the route (after a little editing, I actually went up through Frisco to El Dorado today, but it was definitely busy on El Dorado both going and coming.

I intend this to be the first leg of some longer rides, and the basis of a 100K permanent populaire of my own.

Hope everyone else got in a nice ride before the weather changes this weekend.

Take Care,
Nelson.

I got up and went crappie fishing at Bardwell Lake. Then, this afternoon, Greg and I rode the 33 mile version of my Kennedale - Briaroaks route. We hit the cold front two miles from the finish. Seemed like good timing to me.

Sounds like excellent timing!  How was the fishing?  Greg did you ride the lowracer?  Had any luck with the P38 trade/sell?

Nelson,I like these LSR's routes close to Frisco. Thanks for all you do. YOU RODE ON EL DORARDO? I won't ride in a car on EL Dorado.
You're a BRAVE sole!

No joy on th p-38 yet.  I will remain Bachetta-less for a while longer.  I rode the p-38.  I dislike riding the lowracer on a route until I know it orat least know what to expect.

Greg maybe something will happen here close to Christmas.  Steve whereabouts are you guys again?  Somewhere near Clark Middle School I think you said.  I changed the route to stay on Lebanon all the way to Teel Pkwy now, but will have to try that out, never ridden it.  Going straight up Independence to Virginia/Rock Hill and then over to Preston isn't looking all that bad anymore either, would be better than El Dorado!
