Bacchetta Front Brake
Oct 17th, 2007, 12:05am

Hi Folks,

Do the other Bacchetta owners with front carbon forks have trouble with their front brake.  My Corsa brake has never been stellar, but  since going back to my Rando wheels and a few rides in the wet its been pretty bad.  Despite changing the pads (new kool stop salmons) its by no means impressive.  Anybody have a trick to up the stopping power?

Take Care,
Nelson.

Try wiping the rims and pads with an alcohol wipe and see if that makes a difference. Some of that "stuff" that comes off the roads can be very slick, and more than a little abrasive.
